Any machine requires maintenance and upkeep, especially large-scale engineering machinery. Today, let’s learn about the maintenance methods for stone cutting machines at different time intervals:
Daily Maintenance of Stone Cutting Machine:
Clean the machine bed and guide rails every day to keep the bed clean. Turn off the air and power supply after work and drain any remaining air in the machine’s pipe belt.
If you will be away from the machine for a long time, be sure to turn off the power to prevent non-professionals from operating it.
Regularly check whether the horizontal and vertical guide rails and the rack surfaces have lubricating oil and ensure they remain well-lubricated.
Weekly Maintenance of Stone Cutting Machine:
Conduct a comprehensive cleaning of the machine every week. Clean the horizontal and vertical guide rails, transmission gears, and racks, and apply lubricating oil.
Check if the horizontal and vertical wipers are functioning properly. If not, replace them promptly.
Check if all the cutting torches are loose, and clean the ignition nozzle to ensure proper ignition.
If there is an automatic height adjustment device, test its sensitivity and check if the probe needs to be replaced.
Inspect the plasma cutting nozzles and electrodes for damage, and replace them if necessary.
Monthly and Quarterly Maintenance of Stone Cutting Machine:
Check the main air inlet for debris and verify that all valves and pressure gauges are functioning properly.
Inspect all air pipe joints for looseness and check for any damage to the pipes. Tighten or replace them if necessary.
Examine the transmission components for looseness and check the meshing of the gears and racks. Adjust them as needed.
Loosen the clamping device and push the carriage by hand to see if it moves smoothly. If there are any abnormalities, adjust or replace it in time.
Check if the clamping blocks, steel belts, and guide wheels are loose, and inspect the tension of the steel belts. Adjust them if necessary.
