What to do if marble has yellow rust

Rust yellow is not only common, but also very difficult to clean. Let me share it below. If you encounter the same situation, you can also learn from it as a reference.

One is the rust yellow starting from the bottom of the board

When the rust yellow is from the bottom to the top, the color is generally lighter, not as heavy as the rust yellow formed by direct contact with the surface of the stone. However, because this rust yellow pollution problem will run through the entire board surface, causing the color of the entire board surface to be chaotic, thereby reducing the value of the natural marble board, it appears to be more stubborn, repeated, and difficult to clean thoroughly.

Causes of rust yellow

During the installation process, the stone slabs using the stone back reinforcement process will inevitably come into contact with water or moisture, which is easy to form rust yellow. Especially in the hot and humid summer in the south, even if they are wrapped with marble cling film, marble glue and other materials, these steel bars will still rust and stain, thereby polluting the stone.

If the board company does not provide protection, or the time is not too long, resulting in the failure of the safety protection system, these rust yellows will mix with the marble glue oil, penetrate upward, and form yellow spots. If there are many cracks in the stone, then this problem is more obvious.

Therefore, stone protection is not omnipotent, and there are certain limits and shelf life, which should be paid attention to.

In addition to special technical reasons, there are other sources of yellow rust iron. Sometimes some stones need to be in contact with some steel ladles behind them, which provides a basic environment for the formation of rust yellow. As mentioned above, if the stone is not protected or the protection fails, it is also easy to produce this yellow rust, which will lead to a decline in the overall quality of the stone.
